Society for Global Nineteenth-Century Studies
The Society for Global Nineteenth-Century Studies is a geographically and disciplinarily diverse network of scholars who share an interest in the world’s connectedness between 1750 and 1914. Everyone whose name appears in the congress program must be a member of the Society for Global Nineteenth-Century Studies and pay applicable congress registration fees. Society membership includes a subscription to Global Nineteenth-Century Studies, published by Liverpool University Press.

Congress Participation
Registrants may appear once in the program as a presenter and once as a chair. Those who are not delivering a paper may chair a panel twice. Anyone is welcome to register for a workshop and/or submit a poster regardless of whether their name appears elsewhere in the program. The names of workshop participants will also be listed in the program. As of now, we plan to hold the congress in person following the local authorities’ event management recommendations and guidelines. A very limited number of virtual spots will be available for the immunocompromised, contingent faculty, and early career researchers from the global south. Virtual spots will enable participants to deliver their presentations remotely. We regret that it will not be possible to attend other sessions virtually.
