REGISTRATION
There is a two-step registration process:

1. Visit the University of Birmingham dedicated webpage for congress registration. Until 23 May, you may select one of the discounted early bird registration rates. After 23 May, standard fees will apply. Please note: refreshments and lunches are included in the congress fee. You may also book campus accommodation. Click here.

2. Before 20 June, all presenters must also be members of the Society for Global Nineteenth-Century Studies. If you are not a member, or your membership is not current, click here. Membership is by calendar year and any missed issues of the journal will be sent to you. However, to take full advantage of the membership year, we encourage sign ups sooner rather than later. Presenters who are not members by 20 June will be removed from the program.
Travel Grants & Remote Participation
The SGNCS has, on occasion, offered a limited number of travel grants. Regrettably, we are unable to offer these for the congress in Birmingham. Additionally, while most SGNCS have offered remote participation in the past, our agreement with the University of Birmingham does not permit this option. The event will, therefore, be fully in person. Whenever possible, we are committed to offering a virtual option but this depends in part on the infrastructure and facilities available at our host institutions.
